• Walking boots or walking shoes are only permitted on Treks to the wrecks walks. Anyone without the correct footwear will not be allowed to take part and will not be given a refund.
  • Wear suitable clothing for a trek in the hills and mountains (No jeans).
  • Rucksack or day pack with dry bags to keep your kit dry.
  • Waterproof jacket and waterproof over trousers.
  • Warm clothing.
  • Hat and gloves.
  • Enough food and water to last the duration of the trek.
  • Small first aid kit with a blister pack, pain relief and any personal medication.
  • Head torch and spare batteries for the night treks. Please use a head torch so your hands are free just in case you slip.
  • Sunglasses and sun protection.
  • Camera.
  • Mobile phones can only be used when you are stationary. Please DO NOT USE YOUR MOBILE ON THE MOVE, THIS IS HOW THE MAJORITY OF ACCIDENTS OCCUR WITH LOSS OF CONCENTRATION. Please have your phone on silent.
  • Gaiters are a good idea for the majority of areas we will be covering. 
  • Walking poles are great for balance and reduce impact on your knees on a descent.
