Welcome to Treks to the Wrecks, where adventure meets history.

My name is Mark Lomas and I am the founder of Treks to the Wrecks. We want to share with you the adventure and experience of finding wrecks and create the opportunity for you to pay your respects to the lost pilot or crews no matter what nationality.

As a mark of respect, at every crash site we have been to, we have laid a cross with the aircraft ID number on it and taken time to reflect.

I am ex military of 23 years and have been a qualified mountain leader since 2007 so I have a lot of experience in the great outdoors and I take extreme pride in what I do.

I hold a Mountain & Wilderness First Aid Certificate, I am enhanced DBS checked and have full personal liability and indemnity insurance.
